You can enroll an eligible new device at the time of purchase, within 30 days post-device order shipment or in-store purchase.  If you decide to enroll after day 30 with Anytime Enrollment, the device will need to pass a visual/virtual mechanical inspection. This can be done remotely with the Device Condition Assessment tool (DCA).

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is eligible for device protection at the time of order, within 30 days post-order (post activation), or anytime thereafter, and the device will need to pass a visual/virtual mechanical inspection in all instances. This can be done remotely with the Device Condition Assessment tool (DCA).
 

Repair and Replacement plans are an affordable way to protect devices on your Spectrum Mobile plan.

  • The Repair and Replacement plan costs $5/mo per device

  • The Repair and Replacement Premium plan costs $10/mo per device

The monthly cost will appear as an individual line item on your Spectrum Mobile bill.
 

Visit fastclaim.com/spectrummobile or call the Assurant® Customer Care team at 1-877-875-4282. Once your claim is approved, you’ll be presented with the repair or replacement options available to you, which may include:

  • Service through an authorized repair center

  • Advance exchange

  • Replacement by mail

  • Reimbursement

For lost/stolen devices, also call Spectrum Mobile at 1-833-224-6603 to suspend service. Be ready to provide device details, Spectrum Mobile number, billing ZIP and payment method.
 

You may receive a repair service, a replacement device or reimbursement. Replacements are typically reconditioned devices of like kind and quality. Devices are shipped via next-business-day delivery when available. Damaged devices must be returned within 21 days to avoid unreturned equipment fees.
 

  • Up to 2 claims for loss/theft in a rolling 12-month period starting on date of the first replacement

  • Unlimited front screen-only repairs

  • Premium plan allows unlimited claims for accidental damage (including back glass repair and liquid damage), battery replacements, and mechanical and electrical failures after the manufacturer's warranty expires
     

  • Cosmetic or intentional damage

  • Manufacturer recalls

  • Damage from unauthorized repairs

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Eligibility is based on the original state of enrollment

  • If a customer moves to NY, they can keep Repair and Replacement Premium

  • If a customer performs NDEL/upgrade after moving to NY, they still retain Repair and Replacement Premium on the new device

  • If Repair and Replacement Premium is canceled after the move to NY, it cannot be re-added (NDEL and RRP won’t be available)
     

New phone purchase: No DCA is required if added during a qualified device purchase or within the first 30 days post-device order shipment or in-store purchase. The DCA is required if you'd like to enroll after those 30 days.

Yes, if you're upgrading your device, you can also upgrade your protection plan at the same time. If you'd like to downgrade your protection, you'll need to do that by speaking with a Spectrum agent.

Protection plans can’t be canceled during an upgrade or exchange. If you want to cancel, it has to be done separately before or after your order.
 

Yes, the Repair and Replacement plans can be added at any time.
 

Yes, Repair and Replacement Premium plan covers liquid and water damage for $10/mo per device.
